"Far" is the name of this CD and I enjoy listening to it although the lyrics very often can't be stretched in any way to make sense such as "we made a computer out of macaroni" but with a little more time she might be great. She is after all, very young and so talented. She reminds me of Tori Amos and not because she is a red-haired piano player who has a lot of words in her songs, (well, that doesn't hurt for Tori is all those things). She was on Good Morning America and the comment was made that she was as "cool as a cucumber" which meant I suppose for one so young she seems so very confident. She wore a turtleneck that fit her loosely not tightly and a skirt that was knee length so she in no way resembled pop stars who flaunt a sexy body, she was dressed in regular clothes. When told she was marvelous she grinned and laughed, I suspect she felt the compliment too much and embarrassing. This is how we treat creative people on television let us hope it doesn't turn this young girl's head. She plays with words with a sense of humour, I can't wait to pick up more of her music.
